Interesting.

Why do you think quakes happen at those times?

Do you have a cumulative list of the signals I could play with?

Roger

The times in question play no part in the trigger period process, they are used as a means of triangulation to try and determine lat / long co-ordinates for a pre-seismic location. For each anomalous contact recorded, there are several possible elements that said contact could be related to i.e. dawn / dusk (first light/last light) sunrise / sunset, moonrise / moonset, rising / setting lunar terminator, solar noon and the geocentric position of the moon. Opposite positional longitudes of the sun and moon can also be included towards determination.

I now try formulate time strategies incorporating said elements, to try and get ahead of the impending events before they happen... each event that occurs, takes the current strategy in a different direction...

Circumstantial analysis...

2018-09-28 10:02:43 UTC - M 7.5 North of Palu, Indonesia 119.840'E - 0.178'S

1. The geocentric position of the sun at the time of this event was 27'00'E - 2.05'S. The last time the sun occupied 2'05'S latitude was 15th March between time periods 09:01:36 UTC - 10:02:21 UTC, longitude was 46'51'E / 31'39'E respectively. These times represent the first and last second the sun was located on said latitude....  the M 7.5 event time closely matches the suns last point calculation from March !

2. Download website https://sunrisesunsetmap.com ... select hybrid from the drop down box top left corner of screen ... find the M 7.5 Palu epicentre by comparing the google map with the interactive EMSC event map ... set date for 24th September and click on globe at bottom right corner of dashboard to select UTC. Placing the cursor on the Palu epicentre will show Sunrise / moonset on this day occurred concurrently at 21:50 UTC. If you locate the M 5.5 Martinique event and place the cursor here, it will show sunset / moonrise occurred concurrently at 21:56 UTC. Two events that occurred today with similar circumstances on the 24th September... data correlation.  Lastly, place the cursor on co-ordinates 129'16'E - 4'02'S   South of Maluku Island, Banda Sea region, this will show that sunrise / moonset occurred concurrently at 21:12 UTC. The idea was sound, but I missed the target by 10 degrees with the math... I posted Banda Sea prediction on 24th September, full moon occurred on this day at 23:06:20 UTC.

3. The moons geocentric position at the time of this event was 114'05'W - 11'29'N. The last time the moon occupied 114'05'W longitude was 12:05:11 UTC 1st September. Circumstance would have it that it was sunrise at this time on co-ordinates 94'33'W - 15'18'N Offshore Oaxaca, Mexico.

Two individually calculated predictions, one 7.5 event, and this time strategy seems to be heading in the direction of Mexico !

The times shown in this analysis were determined using http://www.fourmilab.ch/cig-bin/Earth

Add em... on 15th March 09:01:36 UTC (above) the setting lunar terminator was located on co-ordinates 116.440'E - 8.258'S Lombok Island, Indonesia (USGS).

Wow!

I see what you're doing but I don't see the logic behind it.

You need a program to do this automatically.

Roger

Forgot to mention; I looked at sunrise/sunset for 675 mag 7+ quakes from 1973 to 2017 and there were no significant differences in the total number of quakes per hour based on true local time converted from GMT and longitude.
