Google problems - Duffy - 10-15-2018

I have been using a website called http://www.suncalc.net as part of my method of determining seismic locations. It used to give the option of map or satellite image (Google) selection... however, the last couple of months the satellite selection has not appeared as an option. This makes it difficult to calculate any Sea related positions, and means they either have to be ignored or the math is off target (Bali  Angry ).

I noted recently, the same problem is happening with the interactive EMSC seismic map... is this problem local to me, or is it a website issue ?

Appreciate any assistance...

Google is going to a pay per view system. How does $200/month strike you?

That's if you have Maps as part of your website.

Ordinary users are affected by changes in the API.

If I am not mistake, Google recently had some tax related issues with the British government and several EU member states.  May be this is their way of making others pay their bill !

Thanks Roger...
