seismic wave animations - Skywise - 05-29-2015
I ran across these videos when I was writing my post to Kathy. They show vividly how the ground moves in four different types of seismic waves. Thought I would share.
Note that P-Waves are the same as sound waves. Rayleigh waves are the same as ocean waves.
