Roger;

I'm happy you got things sorted, getting sun and moon positions will represent crosses on a map, fair enough.  But these crosses then have to represent the point of sunrise/sunset dawn/dusk at an event time. The crosses are fixed positions, and the quakes in the test occurred at varying distances. I don't think a 90 degree distance from the crosses is going to represent what we did in the test ... does that make sense ?

Wish I had your talent for changing the subject !

Just noted an aspect change on my screens, which seems to be directed towards my next potential one hit wonder in Western Turkey. We should continue this in the RBD progress thread don't you think ?

Duffy;

Pretty early for you isn't it?

What I'm computing is RA and dec for sun and moon. I'm not sure how that converts to geographic lat and lon. Do you know?

My understanding was that these locations are sensitive points and quakes could be expected in a band of some width and 90 degrees either direction to represent sunrise/sunset locations.

If I'm wrong, please correct me now so I don't waste time chasing the wrong goose.

Roger

Yes, time is getting on a bit now, you got your program working so put your feet up and watch the game or something.

We straighten things out tomorrow.
