Tone raised in pitch after 30 secs and continued for several minutes. This indicates to me it's more likely more then 500 miles from me, and as far as Alaska. Pacific Plate.

I thought i was the only person who has heard these sounds.everyone i know thinks im nuts when i ask them if they hear them.ive been hearing them for at least 10 years.im still not sure what they are but this gives me something to consider.i havent heard any lately(2days).is there any links or sites other than this one that deals with this issue??

Jul 11 21:52:18 PDT 2002 M4 7/11/02 9:56 pm PDT right 360+ varying high west/all around my home at approximately 9:38 pm G. and I both experienced an ear tone- his was 5 seconds in the left ear with a high pitch, SW direction and fairly loud volume. Mine started at about the same time, is an ongoing ringing with slight ache in the right ear. Ouch!
